Why virtual works

Serious psychiatry, without the waiting room

  • Seen sooner

No months-long waitlists. Book a free consultation today and meet your clinician usually within days.

  • Private by design

Secure, HIPAA-compliant video from your home, office, or parked car — no waiting rooms, no running into your neighbor.

  • Consistent care

You keep the same clinician visit after visit, with follow-ups that actually fit into a workday, a semester, or a nap schedule.

  • Anywhere in PA & NC

Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham — or three hours from the nearest psychiatrist’s office. Distance stops mattering.

A substantial body of research supports telepsychiatry as comparable to in-person care for psychiatric evaluation and medication management.

And when a situation truly calls for in-person or a higher level of care, we’ll tell you honestly — and help you get there.

Insurance & pricing

Covered by most major plans — and transparent when you’re not

We verify your exact benefits before your first visit, so you’ll never open a surprise bill. No coverage? Clear cash-pay rates, stated up front.

Questions, answered honestly

Frequently asked questions

No. We do not treat ADHD and do not prescribe stimulant medications. Our practice focuses on anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, panic disorder, postpartum conditions, insomnia, and related concerns. If ADHD is your primary concern, a practice that specializes in it will serve you better — and we're glad to point you in the right direction.

Yes — when it's clinically appropriate after a full psychiatric evaluation. Certain medications, including controlled substances, are prescribed conservatively and only as permitted by current federal and state telehealth rules. No medication is ever guaranteed before an evaluation; your clinician will always recommend what's right for you, not what's easiest to prescribe.

A substantial body of research supports telepsychiatry as comparable to in-person care for psychiatric evaluation and medication management across many common conditions. Some situations do call for in-person or higher levels of care — if that's true for you, we'll say so honestly during your consultation and help you find the right setting.

It's a 15-minute call — phone or video, your choice. We listen to what you're looking for, verify your insurance benefits, answer questions, and match you with the clinician who fits your needs. It's not a medical visit: no diagnosis or prescription happens during the consultation, and there's no obligation to book anything afterward.

We're in-network with major plans in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, and we verify your exact benefits before your first visit so there are no surprises. If we're out-of-network with your plan, transparent cash-pay rates are available, and we can provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement.

Our clinicians focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. If you work with a therapist, we coordinate closely with them so your care pulls in one direction — and if you need one, we'll help you find the right fit.

Our clinicians are licensed statewide in Pennsylvania and North Carolina — including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, and Raleigh-Durham. We're expanding to additional states; select "Another state" in the booking form to join the waitlist.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) any time, day or night, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. This website and our practice are not for emergencies.
